ABOUT JENNE (ˈʤƐNƏ)

Jenne writes poetry and creative nonfiction, and she is currently at work on two longer projects. 

Jenne was born and raised in the Inland Northwest and calls the Pacific Northwest home. She lives bicoastally, with former residences in Washington, Massachusetts, Oregon, and Maryland.  In September 2016, Jenne returned to Washington, where she teaches at Gonzaga University. (And she still feels a little homesick for Baltimore, the Charm City.) She also serves as adjunct faculty at University of Maryland University College and Southern New Hampshire University. In her free time, she enjoys watching lame sci-fi shows, hitting the gym, and adventuring around the Pacific Northwest. If you spot her out in the wild, make sure you wave and say hello.

As a proud alumna of the University of Washington (B.A.), Boston University (M.F.A.), and the University of Oregon (M.F.A.), Jenne maintains that it is possible to support rival Pac-12 schools.
